how do ICT and social change work together?
Develop internal capacity in terms of specialized knowledge about ICTs and progressive social change. This should include both theoretical and practical knowledge, focusing on the connection between the two. A vibrant interactive space should be established for this purpose, since most of the needed knowledge in this formative area will have to be built interactively and alliteratively.Prepare and follow a typology of different kinds of projects in this area, along with guidelines for the required kind of project design principles, project roles (nature of actors who should lead etc), partnership management, evaluation framework and sharing knowledge from project activity.Adopt a well-developed network methodology for field level work as well as at the higher organizational levels, in terms of field-building, and influencing macro level change.
how does one contribute towards social change on the internet?
Social media offers exciting possibilities for social change, not just through support of explicitly political projects like MyBarackObama or MoveOn, but through the restructuring of personal relationships, social interactions and organizational dynamics. Nonprofits and social change leaders were some of the earliest adopters of social media because its ability to engage supporters mapped onto their focus on mobilizing and deepening supporter relationships. That’s led to a range of innovations and experiences, from Flickr petitions to peer-to-peer fundraising to transnational mass advocacy. But the social change potential of social media goes far beyond its use by political organizers, campaigners and NGOs. Individuals and organizations who use social media are subtly but profoundly transformed: in an atomized world, social media reconnects us to our communities, to one another, and to our own creative potential. From the most explicitly political online communities to the “frivolous” social networks that bring us back to our deeply social nature, social media is rewriting the rules for social change.
Using ICT tools, such as multimedia, e-mail, interactive presentation, CD-ROM, computer simulations, computer lab and www-based resources, can organize teaching so that the students can control the learning process. Lessons that based on the learners’ skills can be designed in new and more effective ways. Enhancing collaborative activities among students using networked computer labs. Students can discuss topics specified by the instructor using online discussion forums. Scientific studies are becoming easier through computer simulations and visual tools enable students to better understand concepts (Morrison, Lowther and DeMeulle, 1999).
Technology has changed our lives by increasing the speed of time. We were human. We invented and developed the technologies to change our life to its best. Now that technology is changing our lives every second. Robots are our new human model and in the end, only robots control this world. Technology is now trying to go inside our body it’s almost there and the target is human blood and emotions. So, far! Technology is successful in that.
Information Communication Technology (ICT) has significantly changed the way people live, work, communicate and learn. Therefore, ICT influences many parts of our works and lives, as well as many of our free time activities. The fact is it includes a various number of tools like computers which help to improve human life. In education to be more specific it has been proven that ICT is a very important part of teaching and learning process. ICT creates new forms of learning that can be customized to students needs.
Digital access
When I was at Junior High level, I’ll never use to much gadgets like phones and computers because I think its hard for me to learn. One day when i was in a computer laboratory, I saw a lot of students like me who are using computer and I saw them that they are having fun. So I start practicing to use some computers, mobile phones, and also I learned a lot of things, just like surfing in social media with the use of modern technology.
Digital commerce
When my cousin told me that there is a easiest way to buy things with the use of online selling apps and it is more easy to get your things that you want. So i decided to buy some shirts, pants on the online selling apps and successfully bought my favorite shirts and pants. By the use of our new Technology everything are possible.
Digital communication
When I was in grade 5 and when their is a meetings in school, I better go home to tell my parents that were having a meeting at school. After a month my father bought some cell phones and he give it to me. Whenever there’s a meeting I can immediately tell my parents and for some emergencies
Digital literacy
I like so much to read some news on some newspapers but one day I never do it because I’ve learn something that news can also read on computers and mobile phones. So I decided to catch up with the new things. I learn to some information and learn a little bit things about computers
Digital etiquette
When there’s a call for me and there’s a lot of friends of mine surrounded. I take my call to some distance away to my friends to take it personal and to avoid disturbing them. This attitude are one of the importance’s in communication.
Digital law
I like watching movies in computers and it takes for me a lot of time to watch. Some of the students told me that “if you want to continue your watching, you can watch it to your home” but to continue my watching , i should download it first in some unauthorized sites. When I heard that it comes on some unauthorized sites, I disagree to them and It takes for me to finish it on the computer shop.
Digital rights and responsibilities
One of my problem to my Google account are they are so much unidentified information on my inbox. So I decided myself that if there’s an unidentified message that come again i will report it so i can ensure that my account is safety.
Digital health and wellness
I like to play some games on my mobile phone to make myself happy and whenever I’m using my phone I,ll never got hungry and tried. One day when I played again and forgot to eat something, suddenly my head hurts. On that day i eat more than playing games.
Digital security
I experienced that my one of my social media accounts got hacked by someone. I takes a lot of time to retrieve your account that has been hacked. To avoid it, from that day I make my accounts became safe because prevention is better than cure.
ICT is important to our life from this generation ICT is help people developing communication to give more information to other people by using gadgets. For me ICT learners just have to do is browsing and clicking and typing and they’re done. Way easier than having to manually scan through a couple of books in the library. its very important to students.
ICT has helped so much improvement of means and speed of communication to every one. Information and Communication Technologies give a lot of opportunities that can be useful to us to discovered different programs and applications to give ideas that we want to knows anytime and anywhere.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
